DENVER (KDVR) – Thanksgiving is next week and holiday events are on the rise across Colorado.
If you’re looking for something to do this weekend, we’ve got you covered.
It’s going to be a cool fall weekend. A cold front is running into Colorado Saturday with rising clouds. The mountains have snow and wind most of the day with expected 1-4 inch accumulation.
In Denver, we anticipate a 10-20% chance of snow showers on Saturday. Highlights in the 40s.
It gets drier on Sunday with lots of sunshine and 40s over the Front Range.
Many Colorado ski resorts are open for the season. See the full list here. Some, however, have delayed openings.
Permits to fell Christmas trees in the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests are now available.
