The Ryder Cup 2020 – to be played in 2021 – will be weakened this week in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, as the United States looks set to bounce back from a hard-fought defeat a few years ago. The Americans are aiming to win their second Ryder Cup in a row at home, even though Team USA is only 2-7 in this international event since the turn of the century and lost the 2018 tournament despite being massive favorites to Paris.

The United States is focused on a youth movement, while the European side brings tremendous experience into Whistling Straits. Without well-known faces like Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson playing for the Americans, it will be up to Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas, Dustin Johnson and others to fight Jon Rahm, Rory McIlroy, Tommy Fleetwood and an unusually strong guest team.

This is going to be a barn burner, and our CBS Sports experts have offered their selections and predictions for the Ryder Cup.

If this Ryder Cup is similar to the last one held in the United States at Hazeltine in 2016, we are ready for a treat. The Ryder Cup crowds are notoriously noisy, and with this being in the cheesehead country, you can expect more of the same this year. Here’s a look at the event schedule so you can see all the action. All times eastern
