ANN ARBOR, MI – Whether she’s on the subway in New York City or a park in Ann Arbor, Sarah Nisbett has sought inspiration by taking in and drawing her surroundings.

It initially helped Ann Arbor native and University of Michigan alum spend time on the train as she was inspired to sketch a sharply dressed man who was on his way into town when everyone else was going home.
