The sequel to ‘The Skid Is Hot Tonight’ is officially coming in June

In late 2020, BA Johnston shared that he would soon begin recording a follow-up to 2019’s The slip is hot tonight, and the beloved Hamilton character has now lifted the curtain for the new album.
Today, Johnston has revealed the title of his upcoming new LP Werewolves from London Ontario, a humorous play about the title of Warren Zevon’s 1978 single.
Its illustrated cover art, seen above, shows London’s landmarks, including Labbatt Brewery, Embassy Hotel and the famous live music venue Call the Office, along with Vincent Price, Elvira, Raccoons the villain Cyril Sneer, the hostess potato chip the Munchies mascots and the smallest Hobo jumping over the moon.
While Werewolves from London Ontario has not yet received a release date, Johnston shared in his announcement that he would hold a livestream listening party for the LP ahead of its official release this summer.
“Locked down? Bars closed? Well, I want to hold a livestream listening party of the new album, will not be out [till] June, so might as well tune in to this [Saturday], “he wrote. On January 22, Johnston will first host a listening party via Facebook and YouTube at 9.30pm ET, before sharing his latest news via Instagram at 10.30pm ET.
Johnston shared in December via his website that he would again book backyard (and / or driveway) shows in 2022, “starting in May (June out west and September out east). So grab me if you want one specific date as they gradually begin to be booked up. “
Last year, Johnston appeared in a comedy series in the Hamilton set This is the case.
