It’s time to reset the clock on days without a fault being detected in Battlefield 2042. The latest bug found in the first-person shooter allows players to use the in-game menus to undo the effects of smoke grenades.

As noted by Game radar, a redditor named Jagsfootball51 posted a video on r // battlefield2042 subreddit where they were able to undo the effects of a bots smoke grenade by simply opening the Collections tab in the game’s menu. This bug gets hot on the heels of other glitchy discoveries in Battlefield 2042. Since its release on November 19, the game have not caught a break. Halo infinite‘s surprising release of its multiplayer mode has certainly not helped 2042‘s endurance with players, and it is at the moment worst rated games on Steam. In fact, there is one long list of errors on Resetera if bullets do not give you trypophobia. Kotaku previously reported a bug that allowed players to use skyscrapers’ hollow centers as hiding places for their helicopters because DICE had apparently forgotten to add collision to them.
Though the developer plans to update the game across all platforms in December, one can not help but feel that DICE should have gone Battlefield 2042 in the game development oven a little longer to figure out all these cracks instead of throwing some spice on in the form of a post-launch update served on a cold plate for absent gamers who might be looking at what other games are being released this holiday season. Sorry, I still have Thanksgiving on my mind.
