“When I checked my ticket for Halloween, I really could not believe what I saw,” said the 52-year-old player. “I got my husband to double check it just to be sure I was not dreaming. You’re always thinking of winning, but I’m not sure I ever thought it would happen. It certainly felt like a dream!”
The lucky player recently claimed his prize and chose to receive his winnings as a lump sum of around $ 1.1 million instead of 30 annuity payouts for the full amount.
