Melissa Joan Hart, fully vaccinated and ill with Covid, warns others to ‘be vigilant’

“Sabrina Teenage Witches” star went to Instagram (from the bed) to tell followers “it’s bad” and that she thinks she may have caught it from one of her children.

“I’m vaccinated and I got Covid, and it’s bad,” she said. “It weighs on my chest. It’s hard to breathe. One of my kids, I think, has it so far. I pray the others are okay.”

She continued: “I think we as a country got a little lazy and I’m really upset that my kids did not have to wear a mask at school. I’m pretty sure that was where it came from “I really hope my husband and the others do not get it, because if anyone is to be taken to the hospital, I can not go with them.”

Hart says she’s not trying to be political with her post, she’s just sharing an update on her health.

“I wanted to share this with all of you. I’m not posting this to be political or to have pity, I just want to share my journey. This is not for debate, this is just how I feel today on my side,” she wrote.

Hart shares sons Tucker McFadden, 8, Braydon Hart, 13, and Mason Walter, 15, with her husband Mark Wilkerson, and says her youngest masks herself every day.

“I’m just scared and upset and disappointed in myself and some of our leaders,” she added. “I just wish I had done better, so I ask you to do better. Protect your families. Protect your children.”

She reminded everyone that the pandemic “is not over yet”.

“I was hoping it was, but it’s not, so be vigilant and be safe,” she said.
