Scott Frost hammered on social media after a stunning footage at Monday’s press conference

If Nebraska head coach Scott Frost wanted to show he was still the man for the job with him Alma Mater, so the 2021 season did not get off to a good start.

The former Cornhusker quarterback returned to Lincoln ahead of the 2018 season as the university sought to turn the page from the Mike Riley era. So far, it has not been a good return on investment, as Frost has fought for a record of 12-21, including a 9-18 mark in the big ten.

It continued Saturday as Nebraska opened its season with a 30-22 loss to former Arkansas head coach Bret Bielema and Illinois. But even more worrying were the comments Frost made during his Monday press conference.

It certainly raised some eyebrows nationally, least of all in Lincoln. With a head coach’s task of adapting to the game plan he encounters, Frost is to say a statement like this to say the least interesting.

The good news is that Huskers will host FCS Fordham on Saturday, which should at least be a win.
