AUSTIN (KXAN) – Someone could earn a cash reward of $ 10,000 to help state troops find and arrest a suspect who threw an explosive at a church near the Texas Capitol.
The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) reported that a man walked up to the church, located on 13th and Lavaca Streets, around 1 a.m. on Aug. 31 and threw a Molotov cocktail at the building before running off. Authorities did not share whether the church was harmed.
