Time to start an Oscar category that recognizes the most attractive and stylish costars ever. The first nominees: zendaya and Timothée Chalamet.
On Friday, the Dune actors stepped out for the premiere at the Venice Film Festival of the long-awaited sci-fi remake that resembled Hollywood royalty and the Internet is definitely losing it. Within minutes of their red carpet arriving, photos of the trend-setting co-stars and friends went viral.
Zendaya, styled by its longtime image architect Lov Roach, wearing an artfully draped Balmain dress in leather that was fitted to an exact model of the star’s bust. Roch highlighted the jaw-dropping look with equally eye-catching Bulgari emeralds and diamonds plus precise matching Christian Louboutin pumps.

As for her glam, Zendaya rocked pink eye shadow, heavy black eyeliner, dramatic bottom lashes and a glossy lip. She matched her hair with the design of her dress and chose a wet look that was parted in the middle with subtle finger waves.

Chalamet went on to prove that he too is a fashion force to be reckoned with. Oscar nominees (who play opposite Zendaya in the sci-fi movie) wore a black sequin outfit by Haider Ackermann, plus Cartier jewelry, smart black sunglasses and polished leather boots. The premiere marks his debut as “House Friend” (or ambassador) for Cartier.
Fans were impressed. “warm people stan timothée chalamet and zendaya,” a person tweeted. “ZENDAYA IS LITERALLY SCULPTURE OF THE GODS,” another wrote.
“Zendaya and Timothée are literally the most beautiful costars,” said a third fan added.
“hide your girl, timothée and zendaya step out !!” another Twitter user joked.

In June, a trailer for the film showed more of Dune universe and gives a look at how director Denis Villeneuve (Arrival) was able to bring it to life on a massive scale.

With Chalamet in the lead role as Paul, a young prince carrying pressure on his shoulders, the film also features Oscar Isaac and Rebecca Ferguson as his parents as well as Josh Brolin, Jason Momoa and Zendaya.
That trailer introduces Paul and the mysterious dreams he has had, all with Zendaya, obscured by a veil. As dreams feel more and more real, Momoa’s Duncan Idaho reminds Paul to focus on the reality around them.
The film is the second adaptation of the groundbreaking 1965 sci-fi novel that hits the big screen. David Lynch (Blue velvet) took a stab at the material with its poorly received 1984 adaptation.
Dune hits theaters and HBO Max Oc. 22.
