34-year-old CTA bus driver critically injured after being shot in the Loop

CHICAGO – A CTA bus driver was shot and critically injured in the Loop Saturday night, according to Chicago fire officials.

Fire officials said a 34-year-old man was shot near the Chicago Cultural Center in the 0-100 block of West Washington Street just before 9 p.m., and is hospitalized at Northwestern Hospital in critical condition.

There is currently no other information available.
