Amy Roloff reflects on her wedding: “I’m just happy”

If you were worried, Little People, Big World fans, Amy Roloff would like to offer some security:

Yes, she says in a new interview.

The wait was well worth it.

On Saturday, the mother of four married her longtime boyfriend Chris Marek, about a year after the couple had planned to be pulled.

Unfortunately, Covid-19 delayed these original plans from 2020 to 2021 … and also got Amy to hold the ceremony / reception on properties owned by her ex-husband, Matt.

Awkward? Slightly.

But Amy does not regret, that much is certain, based on her post-wedding chat with People Magazine.

“It was just so right and good,” Roloff tells the publication, adding with pleasure:

“I’m just elated. I’m happy. I’m excited I’ve found someone to spend the rest of my days with.”

Make the occasion even more special for the veteran reality star?

As you can see directly above, her father was able to attend, despairing ongoing health issues that made this questionable for a period of time.

Dancing newlyweds!

“In our wedding barn area, we had the doors closed, but there are cracks in the door because it’s a 100-year-old barn,” Roloff explained to People.

“It was a beautiful day and I could see Chris waiting. I thought, ‘Oh, he was wearing the suit. He didn’t look weird on me and was wearing a Hawaiian shirt or something!’

“He just looked so pretty and just looked through the cracks in the door.”

Seeing her soon-to-be husband was memorable for Roloff — but the same could be said of the role her father played.

Love you, grandson!

“When [the doors] opened up, I went halfway down. So my first glance was at my father, ”she continued to People.

“When I reached my father, my next focal point was Chris.

“For me it was like that, it’s two – of course my father was the first man in my world, and here I had another chance to love and just see Chris there …

“… It was the most special moment.”
