Netflix reveals horror lineup for Halloween 2021

It’s officially September. Children are back in school, the leaves change color, and every product in the grocery store comes in a pumpkin spice. That means it’s almost time for Halloween – and to means streaming services are starting to entice horror fans with exclusive horror movies and TV shows.

Today, Netflix showed off their full range of 20 scary originals to service in September and October. This list does not contain library titles (Netflix also has whole Jaws saga, which e.g. coming in September) or recently released horror originals such as Army of the Dead or the Fear Street trilogy. These are just brand new things.

And that includes new seasons of Into the night and You, plus Midnight Mass, a new series from Haunting of Hill House creates Mike Flanagan. There are also several new movies, including an “interactive movie” called Escape Undertaker, who plays WWE wrestlers Undertaker and the new day where viewers “decide the fate” of Xavier Woods, Big E and Kofi Kingston. (I’m going to feel really awful if Big E gets buried because of me.)

September 8
