Leslie Grace shares reaction after being the role of Barbara Gordon

It was revealed earlier this summer that Leslie Grace (In the heights) had been cast to play Barabara Gordon in Warner Bros. ‘Batgirl’s movie, and the actor recently spoke to ET Online to share his reaction to winning the role.

Oh man! It was an insane shock,“Leslie Grace told ET Online. “I mean, I had obviously tried. It was a whole process, you know? But that was just thinking. It’s still insane to think about it, and we’re about to embark on this crazy journey. But I found out via Zoom because the COVID world. The directors and the studio were up and running and they are trying in a way to make it a surprise. They tried to make it look like I was doing one last test and then they sent me an email saying ‘I am Batgirl’ and made me read it.“Luskent. Now that the role is hers, Grace is ready to dive into Batgirl research. “I’m so excited about the character. I’m looking forward to geeking out with all the comics,Said Grace. “I’ve already researched it so much and I’m also excited to learn how to kick an ass, for your girl, she’s going to have to get tough and tough to be Miss Barbara Gordon. So I can not wait.“Leslie Grace has not seen the Batgirl costume yet, but she dares to try it. She also responded to reports that JK Simmons is in negotiations to play Commissioner Gordon in the film.

JK Simmons played former Commissioner Gordon in Justice League and Zack Snyders Justice League. Although Warner Bros. clearly moving away from Snyder’s vision of DCEU, it’s nice now that Simmons can repeat the role of Bat girl. When asked to describe the title character, Leslie Grace said “Determined, skilled, and I will give you a dash. Or a compound word? Purpose driven. Maybe not a compound word – I do not know grammar – but you know what I say!
