What’s new on Amazon Prime Video in October 2021

Looking for something new to watch on Amazon Prime Video? Here’s your practical list of what’s new on the streaming service this month, and when it comes to originals, October is a pretty big month on Prime Video. And it’s obviously a big month for creepy content.

First up, Amazon and Blumhouse’s horror movie series Welcome to Blumhouse returns with two new films, Bingo Hell and Black as night October 1, followed by two more debuts, Mothers and The manor on October 8th. October also brings the release of Amazons I know what you did last summer series, a new take on the YA slasher mystery that inspired the beloved 90s teenage thriller of the same name. And if you’re looking for something seasonal that doesn’t scare the kids, the newly animated musical series debutedDo, Re & Mi debuts the All Hallows special Halloween harmony on October 1st.

If you’re not feeling out of place this season or just looking for a good movie to watch this month, Amazon’s recently available library titles include Reconciliation, Butch Cassidy and Sundance Kid, Die hard (together with The Hard 2 and Die Hard with a vengeance), Traveling Arizona, The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou, and Taken.

There is also a new one Justin Bieber doc, new episodes of If You Give a Mouse a Cookie and more. See the full list of new movies, shows and originals on Amazon below.
