Pete Davidson joined Colin Jost at the Weekend Update during the Season 47 premiere of “Saturday Night Live” on October 2, where he discussed the eccentric outfit he was wearing to attend the Met Gala.

When he made his Met Gala debut, Davidson wore a striking black-trimmed white blazer and black dress by designer Thom Browne, highlighted by a shirt with a collar and pearl necklace.

“It’s a cool dress,” Davidson joked with his attire. “I looked like James Bond on a quinceañera. I looked like one of the three blind mice selling fentanyl. ”

Davidson, who wore a t-shirt in honor of the late Norm Macdonald, went on to declare that he is happy to wear dresses and paint his nails occasionally “because I love making my uncles uncomfortable … since my uncle Steve saw it, he was like, “Hey, I do not understand, but what makes you happy, okay? You are still welcome in my house. I’ll just put the seat down when you’re over! ‘”

Davidson eventually shifted the focus to Jost, specifically his role in the fateful “Tom & Jerry,” which Davidson described as “the perfect pandemic movie because it made sure there would be no big gatherings in cinemas.”

He ended up making one last observation about his Met Gala outfit.

“I look like Tilda Swinton on a casual Friday,” Davidson said.

“Saturday Night Live” is broadcast live from coast to coast at 23:30 ET, 20:30 PT at Global.
