Suspect Timothy George Simpkins, 18, surrendered to police hours after the shooting.
The teenager was charged with three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and is currently out of trouble.
The shooting was due to a conflict between two teenagers in a classroom.
Police allege that Simpkins brought a gun to the school, and at some point during or after that fight, he got the 45-caliber handgun out and started firing.
