56-year-old died after quarrel with stepson

OCEANSIDE, California – A four-story condominium project was given the green light Monday night by the Oceanside Planning Commission after much debate from residents who claim it does not fit into the neighborhood.

The Commission voted 5-1 to approve the 54-unit project proposed for a site on the South Coast Highway and Morse Street, a property currently home to several other units, including an auto service center. It marked the second time that the Commission discussed the project after submitting it late last month due to the large absence of Commissioners.
