Prabhas is ready to excite fans with his upcoming slate film – Radhe Shyam, Salaar and Adipurush. Fans, however, have been waiting for what the star has in store for them in Prabhas25. The film was recently announced and it became official that Arjun Reddy (Vijay Deverakonda) and Kabir Singh (Shahid Kapoor) celebrity director Sandeep Reddy Vanga will direct the film, titled Spirit. The young Rebel star will play the lead role, who has been hugely interested in who should be the leading lady in the film, which was hailed as a high-octane drama.
Now reports suggest that Bollywood top actress Kareena Kapoor Khan has been taken to the same. Although there is no confirmation yet, the news itself is quite exciting. Like his other films, Spirit will also be a Pan-Indian film, and having someone like Kareena on board will only enhance the film’s reach to a wider audience. We already know that Kareena’s husband Saif Ali Khan works with Prabhas in Adipurush. It may be remembered that the Baabubali star had recently treated Kareena with some Biryani and several delicacies. There is already a binding and we can also see this convert to a pairing on the screen.
Meanwhile, there are also buzzers that Prabhas has asked for a large sum for Spirit. Something worth 150 million kroner. There have also been reports that he was not the first choice for the lead in Spirit and stars like Ram Charan, Mahesh Babu and the stylish star Allu Arjun were contacted earlier. It was only when they rejected the film that Sandeep Vanga Reddy took it to Prabhas, who came on board.
When we look at what Reddy did with Arjun Reddy and Kabir Singh, we can expect him to show Prabhas in a whimsical, never seen before avatar in Spirit.
