Position Summary

This position is responsible for
leading a Transcript Evaluation team within Enrollment. This team will maintain the student record through student information system(s),
process improvement, data analysis, reporting, and data maintenance. In addition, the position will be directly responsible for staffing,
team supervision, and assist with career development for team members.

Essential Functions and

  • Responsible for selecting and training quality staff
  • Effectively manage team performance by
    establishing goals (metrics), distributing work, evaluating performance, and providing timely guidance and feedback to ensure accurate
    completion of work (QA) within service level agreement (SLA)
  • Data driven with the ability to create and read data points on various
  • Provide guidance for career growth and professional development
  • Ensure team has functional training and technical
    resources to achieve job expectations
  • Demonstrate urgency when handling escalated requests from students, staff, and
  • Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of a robust training program for all departmenta staff.
  • Collaborate with OTR team, leadership, and other WGU departments to provide feedback, advice, counsel, and implementation of process and
    technology improvement, policy changes, and student success initiatives
  • Act as a liaison for WGU with outside institutions,
    vendors, and organizations
  • Counsel students, staff, and faculty on academic policies and procedures
  • Lead weekly team
  • Provide effective coaching with every member of the team on a weekly and as needed basis
  • Work with leaders in
    other departments to find solutions that will improve the overall experience for students, staff, and department
  • Create a positive,
    goal-oriented culture
  • Responsible for meeting and achieving team goals

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Three years of experience working in an enrollment, admissions, or registrar
    office at a higher education institution
  • Experience in managing a small team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Four or more years of experience working in an enrollment, admissions, or registrar office at a higher education institution
  • Mastery level experience using a student information system (such as Banner/PeopleSoft, SalesForce), and document imaging system (such
    as OnBase/Kofax)
  • Master’s degree in a business, liberal arts, or social sciences field
  • Demonstrated history of successful
    staff supervision
