Bethenny Frankel slams ‘Housewives’ book for ‘trashing women’

She mentions it all.

Bethenny Frankel called the explosive new “Real Housewives” book that tells it all, “Not all diamonds and rosé” for “throwing women”.

“I think we need more stories about women throwing women … or … can we publish a book about it?” Frankel, 50, sarcastic tweeted Monday evening. “Is that a good idea?”

The alum “Real Housewives of New York City” added that she felt that journalist Dave Quinn’s book took advantage of the “weaknesses” of the franchise’s stars.

“PS. I’ve had my regrettable moments, but am I taking advantage of our weaknesses? It’s ‘rich’ … literally #WomenSupportingWomen lol,” she wrote.

Frankel had not previously recognized the book.

Frankel – who appeared on “RHONY” from season 1 to 3 and then season 7 to 11 – was one of the only “Real Housewives” who chose not to be included in everything. The Skinnygirl founder has not yet talked about why she declined to attend and had remained relatively quiet about the matter until now.

“I vaguely remember being contacted about it and taking a hard left wing … but I do not know. It just keeps popping up,” Frankel explained in another tweet.

The “Just B with Bethenny Frankel” podcast host teased that she would instead share her side of the story in an episode coming out later this week.

“Not All Diamonds and Rosé” includes never-before-seen details, first-hand stories and interviews with almost all past and present “Real Housewife”, friends of the stars and producers of shows.

Quinn’s new book has already created a whirlwind of drama after reality stars found out who spoke ill of them.

Former “RHONY” star Heather Thomson claimed that her co-star Sonja Morgan let men “put lit cigarettes in her vagina”, to which Morgan, 57, replied, “liar-liar pants on fire.”

Morgan’s co – star Leah McSweeney, on the other hand, shared that she was not happy with Morgan’s comments about her sister by posting an Instagram story about lit cigarettes – referring to Thomson’s story.

“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” stars Lisa Rinna and Lisa Vanderpump also made headlines after a producer made new claims about the show’s “Puppygate” scandal from season 9.

“The truth always comes out,” Rinna, 58, wrote in an Instagram story, referring to the producer who claimed that Vanderpump, 61, made the infamous 2019 call to Radar Online that leaked the “Puppygate” story.

Frankel’s representative had no further comments on her tweets. A representative of the book’s publisher did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
