Harry Styles plays first concert at UBS Arena

The UBS Arena in Elmont is starting its grand opening in style, literally. British pop star Harry Styles will headline the Belmont Park venue’s first music concert event on November 28, just eight days after the Islanders’ opening match.

This concert marks the last night of Styles’ “Love on Tour” show, which has been running since September 4th. The tour was a year delayed due to the pandemic. Styles will perform this weekend in Madison Square Garden on Saturday and Sunday for his “Harryween Fancy Dress Party”.

Styles, 27, was first spotted on the British TV music competition show “The X Factor”, where judge / executive producer Simon Cowell (“American Idol”) put together the popular boy band One Direction in 2010. In 2016, Styles ventured out on his own solo career scored hits with songs like “Sign of the Times” and “Kiwi” from his self-titled debut. The success continued with his second effort in 2019, “Fine Line”, which has received double platinum and won a Grammy Award with the hit singles “Watermelon Sugar”, “Falling”, “Lights Up”, “Adore You” and “Golden”.
