CLEAN ENERGY: Police are pushing for the transition to electric school buses

DENVER (KDVR) – The management of Colorado’s largest school district decided to close schools on the Friday before the Thanksgiving holiday.

“To show our appreciation for you and to help you have more time to devote to your health and self-care, we will start the Thanksgiving break one day early,” said DPS Superintendent Dr. Alex Marrero in a letter to district staff. “DPS management has decided to make Friday, November 19, a day of absence for students, and district-run schools and office buildings will be closed.”
