Kanye reveals a text message apologizing to Soulja Boy for taking his verse out of the album: I Should Have Told You

Kanye West has straightened fences with Soulja Boy!

Back in late August, Kanye Westis much awaited Donda album was released to the world. Once Soulja Boy heard Donda, however, he was surprised to learn that a verse he contributed was eventually omitted from the hit album. Soulja Boy apparently had sent Kanye West a verse to “Remote” which was never used and he was sorry!

Soulja Boy initially expressed his thoughts on the matter by tweeting:

“Idk how to feel [about ‘Donda’], Kanye sent me that song ‘remote control’ and I do not hear my verse on it … hmm f ** k it n *** a. “

He later added:

“F ** k that my Kanye West diss song finns drop, I’m tired of saving this clown for a ** n *** a.”

The case was recently brought up again when Kanye West appeared on Drink Champs, initially denied that the verse was good. But he followed this up by claiming:

“Soulja Boy is the top five most influential … and I do not want to argue with you about this at all. As far as what we are today.”

On a trip, Soulja Boy blown up Kanye West during a livestream:

“Do not stand up on a genealogy platform and say otherwise than what the hell you told me to my face. Tell me to my face that it was rubbish.”

Despite their problems, Kanye West has just revealed that he and Soulja Boy has put the drama behind him and is on good terms again! Earlier today (Wednesday, November 10), Kanye uploaded a screenshot of a conversation between him and Soulja Boy. He started the exchange by sending an SMS:

“Yes, it’s you. Love you bro. I should have told you I would not use the verse.”

Soulja Boy answered:

“Love you brother too. That was all I wanted.”
