Applications are invited for appointment as Lecturer in Food and Nutritional Science in the School of Biological
Sciences (Ref.: 508858), to commence as soon as possible on a two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree by research in Nutritional Science and/or a M.Sc. degree in Dietetics or Nutrition, with at
least 3 years’ relevant teaching practice. Those with a portfolio of course design, production of teaching materials, quality assurance,
supervision of teaching practice, and/or student advising are highly preferred. The appointee will teach any of these undergraduate courses
in nutrition, nutritional biochemistry, diet and disease, sports nutrition, functional foods and nutrigenomics. He/She will also provide
support to practicum, student support services and perform other duties as assigned.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with
qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. At current rates, salaries tax does not
exceed 15% of gross income. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits
scheme, totaling up to 15% of basic salary.
