They shared photos of their adventures and were often accompanied by their two dogs, Frank and Baker.
Just three days ago, the couple posted a short clip of a flight over Beaver Island in Lake Michigan.
They subtitle the post with the words, “Fly (again!) To take the big dog back to his third vet appointment. Cross all fingers and toes for better news.”
In an earlier post, dated October 29, 2021, the couple added a picture of another flight over the island and subtitled it: “The tiny tiny road leads to one of our favorite rustic campsites and now a little how we live on the other side of the epic view. Life is wild. “
The couple also posted a black-and-white photo, which included their two dogs, and they called it a “family photo.”
They wrote: “We have owned this airflow for 6 years and this is our very first family photo at the door. #Failedinfluencers Thank you @mmivphoto for these impromptu happy photos. I will always remember us like this.”
A total of four people died in the tragedy on November 13, and real estate agent Mike Perdue was also reported to have lost his life.
Two dogs on board also died in the tragedy.
Only an 11-year-old girl survived the crash but is said to be seriously injured.
The young man was named by Perdue’s daughter by local media.
She has been taken to McClaren Northern Michigan Hospital.
US Coast Guard officials confirmed the crash of a single-engine commuter plane.
They were able to see the remains of the crash on the island with local emergency medical teams responding on the spot.
According to historical data, this is Island Airways’ first crash.
In February 2001, another crash took the life of a pilot and a passenger.
A mother and her three children survived and waited 15 hours for rescue.
