EXCLUSIVE: Makeready has brought in Collin Creighton to be a producing partner along with founder Brad Weston and oversee the company’s production list. Before joining Netflix, Creighton VP Production & Development was with The Weinstein Company, where he oversaw titles, including Sydpote, St. Vincent, Lee Daniels’ Butler and both seasons of the Netflix original series Marco Polo.
“Collins’ invaluable experience from his many years at Netflix and his overall skills are very complementary to our needs at Makeready. I’m excited to work with him to make amazing films and series together,” said Weston.
Makeready and Endeavor Content recently announced a multi-year joint venture agreement to fund and produce film, television and documentary content. In the new partnership, Makeready will be a brand of Endeavor Content, with full development and production funding as well as access to the entire Endeavor Contents studio and production infrastructure, giving Makeready the resources to build a formidable board of premium, filmmakers and talent-driven films, TV series and documentaries across all platforms.
