Halle Berry underwent a tough transformation for her role as a hardened MMA fighter in Suggested – which marks her directorial debut – but the Oscar winner has not left behind her glam Bond girl persona.
On Tuesday, the 55-year-old star shared a sensual image of the Asian-inspired outfit – a black and gold kimono robe with ribbons at the waist with an obi with a gold snake – she wore to her performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Monday evening.
As Kimmel herself noted during their conversation, Berry looked “beautiful and dressed up” – a stark contrast to her recent action role.
Berry wrote the subtitle for her provocative picture – where she looks down at the camera in her plunging top – “That after glo!” Fans – including singer Kelly Rowland – could not help but agree.
“Queen,” commented MMA fighter Pearl Gonzalez, while a follower praised Berry’s “endless beauty.”
“Yes madam,” was another comment.
But despite her good looks from the movie star and the beauty queen’s background, the former Miss USA shared first places in a recent CBS Sunday morning interview, which she wants to push back against preconceptions about her appearance – including the assumption that “this package that I walk around in spares me any situation in real life.”
“Beauty is so subjective, but that word has been felt for me since the beginning of my career,” she said. “And so I’ve had to work really hard to remove what beauty is, and what beauty does, and what beauty can do.”
