Travis Scott, Drake, Apple, Live Nation and others will now have to face a massive $ 750 million lawsuit filed against them by more than 125 fans, including the family of one who died at the festival.
The case, filed by Houston attorney Tony buzbee, is the first of others to come and blame Travis and concert organizers for negligence in not planning the concert properly, training security staff and hosting a safe event.
Among the plaintiffs is the family of Axel Acosta, a 21-year-old who was allegedly crushed by an “agitated, unruly and out of control with such force that he could no longer breathe.”
As for the staggering $ 750 million, the lawsuit claims to cover both physical and mental health damage as well as loss of life.
Buzbee says: “No amount will ever make these plaintiffs whole; no amount can restore human life. But the damages sought in this case seek to repair, assist or compensate for the damages and losses suffered by these plaintiffs. – Nothing more and nothing less. “
Travis and Live Nation offered reimbursement almost immediately to concert-goers, and the trial addresses it, calling it, “… a transparent and grotesque effort by the defendants to limit their responsibilities, afterwards, to the families of those killed or injured. “

As we reported … 10 people have now lost their lives as a result of the Astroworld Festival – the most recent was one 9-year-old boy.
Law enforcement continues to investigate what caused the deaths, but those in the audience say a crowd has captured, trampled and strangled fans.

Sources close to Travis have maintained he was not aware of the seriousness of what happened in the crowd while performing. Pictures of the police take pictures and watching Travis’ show more than 25 minutes after the HFD boss declared the concert a “mass accident event” seems to support Scott’s claim.
