Attack on Titan Season 4, Part 2, on its way to Crunchyroll in 2022

There are less than two months to go Attack on Titan begins broadcasting its final episodes, ending an epic saga that began over a decade ago with the release of the first chapter of the manga in Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine. Recently, two of the biggest anime streaming platforms, Funimation and Crunchyroll, have confirmed the release date of the first episode of Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2 titled ‘Judgment’.

The war between the Marleyians of Liberio and Eldians of Paradis Island is coming to an end with these last few episodes of the beloved series. However, the war is not the only conflict awaiting a solution in this part 2. Alliances and friendships have apparently been broken, as episode 14 of season 4, ‘Savagery,‘perfectly encapsulated in the conversation between the main trio, Eren (Yuki Kaji), Armin (Marina Inoue), and Mikasa (Yui Ishikawa). Where Season 4 Last Released, in the episode titled ‘Above and Below, which aptly describes where Eren’s enemies, Porco (Toshiki Masuda) and Reiner (Yoshimasa Hosoya), emerging from, fans were left with a cliffhanger, which promised a battle between Eren and his followers and the Marleyske forces.

For fans who have read Attack on Titan manga, you probably know what to expect in part 2 when the story ends, but for fans who only watch anime, it’s safe to say that there are some serious events that will happen before it’s all over!

Both Funimation and Crunchyroll announced on Twitter the news that the second part of last season of Attack on Titan would begin airing on January 9, 2022. In the meantime, you can use one of these streaming platforms to catch up on the 75 released episodes of anime. Crunchyroll is available in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, LATAM, Europe, the Middle East and Russia, while Funimation is available in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, Mexico, Brazil and New Zealand.
