Eternals Star shares picture of Harry Styles’ deleted scene

Eternal shocked Marvel fans everywhere by introducing Harry Styles as Eros, the beloved cosmic character better known by audiences as Starfox. Although the character appears in a scene in the middle of credits – along with Patton Oswalt’s Pip the Troll, it was nonetheless that he was originally to appear in another scene in the film. Now, fans might want to take a look at that scene after Eternals star Lia McHugh posted a series of photos on her Instagram account Sunday night.

In the first picture, McHugh can be seen posing with Richard Madden and Styles. The trio is wearing the cloak-like clothes that the whole group wore in the film’s opening scene. Styles was instead nowhere to be found in that sequence. You can see the picture below yourself.

“It’s interesting. Starfox, Eros, I really like that character, but he’s super problematic about publishing, for reasons that even publishing somehow explores the She-Hulk stuff, which I find interesting,” said Eternals producer Nate Moore earlier. ComicBook.com by Styles’ casting. “But when we decided to lean into Eros, the notion of a guy whose power is seduction and emotion control, it’s a pretty specific request for a piece of talent. And we talked about gender reassignment, because really, Eros doesn’t have to be a guy. , but he’s a guy, but it could be anything. It’s really who’s just seductive around them. were we like “really?” But I promise you, if you ever get a chance to meet Harry Stiles, it’s true.

“‘You’re like, I love this guy. I love this guy. I do not know what it is. I love him.” He’s funny. He’s charming. He’s kind to everyone. He’s kind of eros, “Moore continued.” And so, it was an easy conversation. I think for him, there is a greater risk for Harry Styles to be in this movie than for us to cast Harry Styles. Because he has such a specific fanbase, and he’s a musician, and now he’s becoming an actor, but that’s not necessarily his core. And to take a flyer on this really random character, which he also knows is vaguely problematic, I think was a kind of major leap of faith for him. But I think the notion of Eros in MCU going forward is so much fun. It’s all worth it. “
