Zoey Deutch is set to star in something from Tiffany’s film from Amazon Studios

Who does not love a good romantic comedy? Well, get ready for a new one, because Deadline reports Zoey Deutch (Set it up, Before I fall, and Zombieland: Double Print) has been cast for both starring in and executive producer of Something from Tiffany’s, an Amazon Original movie based on one Melissa Hill novel of the same name.

The romantic comedy, which will exclusively stream on Prime Video worldwide, follows a woman whose life is turned upside down when an engagement ring intended for someone else leads her to the person she is to be with. Daryl Wein, co-author, co-producer and director of the apocalypse comedy from 2021 How it ends, will direct the film according to a script adapted by Tamara Chestna (Moxie).

In addition to the German executive producer, Reese Witherspoon and Lauren Neustadter produces Something from Tiffany’s under Witherspoons Hello Sunshine production company, in collaboration with Amazon Studios. Amazon Studios and Hello Sunshine are also in production together on the musical drama series Daisy Jones & The Six, based on Taylor Jenkins Reids novel of the same name. Daisy Jones & The Six will star Riley Keough, Sam Claflin, Suki Waterhouse, and Timothy Olyphant.


At present, no other contributors have been announced Something from Tiffany ‘s, but it’s only a matter of time before the casting is announced for Gary, Ethan and Ethan’s daughter Daisy. Although an official synopsis of the film has not been released, the synopsis of the book on which it is based is below:

“Two very different men buy gifts for the women they love. Gary buys his girlfriend Rachel a charm bracelet, while Ethan looks for something a little more special – an engagement ring. But when the two men’s shopping bags get confused, the couple’s lives become intertwined.”
