“We can not let that bully steal our hopes and dreams!” “Courage! Believe! These are the things you need now …” Universal has unveiled a third and final trailer for Illumination’s sequel Sing 2. As Gunter helps Buster invent a masterpiece outside of this world, and the pressure (and sinister threats) from Mr. Crystal Mount, Buster Moon and his friends must persuade retired rock star Clay Calloway to join them for the opening of a new show. This time, they’re on their way to the glamorous Redshore City, which looks a bit like Las Vegas, to open a new song show and dazzle the audience. Sing 2 has the voice from Bono as Clay Calloway, a rock legend, with a fantastic cast included Matthew McConaughey, Reese Witherspoon, Scarlett Johansson, Taron Egerton, Tori Kelly, Nick Kroll, Bobby Cannavale, Halsey, Pharrell Williams, Letitia Wright, Erik Andre, and Chelsea Peretti. This sequel is similar to the epitome of bigger and better and taller, but it also seems like the plot is about the pressure that comes with getting bigger and better and taller. Can they handle it? Is it too much stress? This animated sequel might just get better than the first movie.

Buster (McConaughey) has turned the New Moon Theater into a local hit, but Buster has his eyes open for a bigger prize: Debuting with a new show at the Crystal Tower Theater in the glamorous Redshore City. But without any connection, Buster and his cast – hasty pig mother Rosita (Reese Witherspoon), rocker pig Ash (Scarlett Johansson), serious gorilla Johnny (Taron Egerton), shy elephant Meena (Tori Kelly) and of course pig provocateur Gunter (Nick Kroll) – are have to sneak into the world famous Crystal Ent. offices, run by the ruthless mogul Jimmy Crystal (Bobby Cannavale). In a desperate attempt to get Mr Crystal’s attention, Gunter spontaneously pitches a monstrous idea that Buster runs with, promising that their new show will play lion rock legend Clay Calloway (Bono). The problem is that Buster has never met Clay, an artist who shut himself off from the world more than ten years ago after the loss of his wife. Even worse, Buster has failed to realize that Mr. Crystal is an egocentric gangster who would rather drop someone off the roof of a building than be lied to. Sing 2 is again written and directed by British filmmakers Garth Jennings, of Son of Rambow, the hitchhiker’s guide to the galaxy and the first Sing former. Made by Illumination. Universal will release Sing 2 in cinemas across the country Dec 22.
