Another week has passed and temperatures have dropped. Not that it prevented celebrities from dressing differently, for they still look as glamorous as ever. From heavy desi looks to glamorous dresses and trendy streetstyle looks, Tinsel Town’s leading ladies have given us some of the most spectacular looks as they have been on their way out to promote movies, attend events and travel. Take a look at the best dressed stars from the past week.
Tara Sutaria
To promote her upcoming film Tadap, in which she plays opposite Ahan Shetty, Tara Sutaria chose a creamy corset top and baggy pants from the Polite Society. The bustier-style corset top had a contrasting black drawstring at the front and an adjustable opening at the back. She combined it with matching cotton denim pants and black boots that give a cowgirl look with her messy brunette curly hair.
Janhvi Kapoor
Janhvi Kapoor was a strong case for pink and chose a set in two parts from Nedret Taciroglu’s collection for spring and summer 2020. The silk organza set contained a transparent blouse with full sleeves with lace embroidery and a ruffle neckline and the club with a mini-skater skirt, which had lace embroidery, which added to its appeal in a horizontal way. Complete with pink heels and monochrome makeup, Janhi’s look was definitely at the top of our list.
Shanaya Kapoor
The star, who has yet to make his debut, stepped out in a pair of Berksha’s straight-fit cargo pants, which had vertical pin stripes on one side and tan on the other, which was simple. She paired this with Tiger Mist Riley’s top, which partially matched her pants and put her toned midriff on full screen.
Nora Fatehi
The Kusu-Kusu dancer chose a Hervé Léger-coordinated set designed with wrinkled nails. This one had a top with a square neck and mutton sleeves that ended with ruffled cuffs. This close-fitting ensemble embraced her curvy figure, and the skirt had a thigh-high slit and ended in a ruffle edge.
Alaya F
The Jawani Jaaneman actress rocked a black bodysuit with a shoulder under a pair of black leather pants of paper bag. Tanned wedges, her hair pulled into a simple ponytail and flushing pink lips completed the actress’ look.
Kriti I say
The Mimi actress is on her way! Kriti Sanon stepped out a few times this week and gave us a whole new look. One that we can not get over is this reddish-brown top with ruffle sleeves paired with brown high-waisted trousers and an oversized Chanel quilted black bag. A pair of white sneakers, gold ring earrings and poker straight hair completed her look.
Sarah Ali Khan
For the trailer launch of her next film Atrangi Re, Sara Ali Khan chose a white chanderi kurta set from The Loom. She paired this with simple silver juttis, statement silver bracelets and poker-straight hair.
Malaika Arora
Malaika Arora looked absolutely regal, choosing a black Alberto Audenino black transparent dress with crystallized crystals. She wore black basics under the clean piece and styled it with stilettos with straps, glamorously curly hair and shimmer makeup that complimented her look well.
Bhumi Pednekar
Bhumi Pednekar was one of the most beautiful desi-looks this week and looked like a piece of sunshine in a yellow Manish Malhotra lehenga. The simple yellow blouse in bandage style was paired with an expansive ornate lehenga, which had shades of pastel pink and blue on it, topped with a pure yellow dupatta. A statement choker and hair parted to one side completed the actress’ look.
