Boba Fett and Fennec Shand dramatically emerge from Tatooine’s swirling sand in new The Book of Boba Fett character posters.
Boba Fett shows off his armor in new character posters from the Disney + show The book about Boba Fett. Every Star wars fans favorite dead bounty hunter re-emerged as a Disney + character during season 2 of The Mandalorian.
Fans were obviously teased with Boba Fett’s return during season 1 of The Mandalorian but it was not until season 2 that the fairy tale Star wars mystery one finally returned. After re-establishing itself as a force to be reckoned with Star wars streaming universe, Boba (Temuera Morrison) now returns to his own spinoff show with his new partner Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen) in the lead role. Instead of focusing on Boba Fett’s ongoing bounty hunting activities, The book about Boba Fett takes a hard left turn into the dark lower abdomen of Star wars, as it sees Boba take over the criminal empire once driven by giant snail monsters and The return of the Jedi antagonist Jabba the Hutt.
It remains to be seen what complications will arise for Boba when he takes on the role of underworld crime boss in The book about Boba Fett. What’s certain is that his costume and Fennec Shands will look very tight, as shown in a couple of new character posters shared by Disney +. See the pictures in the room below:
If there is any doubt about where The book about Boba Fett takes place, the new images depict Boba Fett and Fennec Shand emerging quite dramatically from Tatooine’s swirling sand. In fact, the legendary desert home planet Luke Skywalker seems to be about the only framework for Book by Boba Fett, which can actually come as bad news too Star wars fans who believe that the dusty planet has been thoroughly explored in previous movies and TV series and probably should be a less prominent frame in the future. Planet shopping with Boba Fett could actually have been more fun than watching him get stuck on Tatooine for the entire duration, but there is also potential entertainment to be gained by watching the one-time bounty hunter try to be a criminal king, with several malicious people either in his employment or trying to hire him (or both).
It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post The book about Boba Fett which they brought to The Mandalorian. But the show starts from a strong position given its focus on a fan-favorite character who still has a lot of background stories to explore. And it’s clear from trailers that the action level on the new show will be on par with the action in The Mandalorian. Fans will find out once and for all whether Boba Fett can wear his own show when The book about Boba Fett coming to Disney + on December 29, 2021.
