Peanuts celebrate New Year’s Eve in a Lucy Van Pelt-focused special

Apple sends a trailer for Auld Lang Syne, the upcoming animated New Year’s Peanuts special starring Lucy Van Pelt.

Apple TV released a trailer for the upcoming one Peanuts particular For Auld Lang Syne.

The trailer sees Lucy spoiling from her grandmother who does not show up for Christmas. To help prove how lovable she is, Lucy decides to hold an extravagant New Year’s party. Meanwhile, Charlie Brown reflects on his various New Year’s resolutions, which he has not been able to fulfill.

For Auld Lang Syne is written by Alex Galatis, Scott Montgomery and Clay Kaytis. The latter also directs the thesis, with Craig Schulz, Bryan Schulz, Cornelius Uliano, Paige Braddock, Josh Scherba, Stephanie Betts, Amir Nasrabadi and Anne Loi acting as executive producers.

Animated holiday offers have been an integral part of Peanuts franchise for decades. Other popular favorites include And Charlie Brown jul, That’s the big pumpkin, Charlie Brown, And Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, It’s the Easter beagle, Charlie Brown, Be My Valentine, Charlie Brown and more. This is also not the first New Year’s special, which was released in 1986 Happy New Year, Charlie Brown.
