Genshin Impact Keqing Cosplay by former LoL Pro Sneaky Is Electric

Former League of Legends pro player Zach “Sneaky” Scuderi showed off an impressive cosplay of Genshin Impact’s electrifying character Keqing.

Former League of legends professional player Zach “Sneaky” Scuderi, revealed a brand new cosplay of Genshin impact character Keqing on Twitter. This is yet another in a long line of intricate and beautiful cosplays by Sneaky, but this may be the first time he has made a Genshin impact cosplay. In the past, he has tended to stick to cosplays of masters from League of legends or characters from animes like Nekopara.

Genshin impact characters have been mature for cosplay enthusiasts for a while. With their intricate costumes and hair colors not often seen in the real world, Genshin impact‘s characters look as if they were taken directly from an anime or manga. In addition, each character has their own unique personality and power set, allowing cosplayers to express themselves beyond just the clothes they are wearing. For example, one Genshin impact cosplayer brought Hydro user Mona to life thanks to special effects on her Instagram post showing vines of water swirling around her. However, this Keqing cosplay did not need such effects.

The cosplay, as Sneaky posted on his Twitter, the former shows League of legends pro fully equipped as Genshin impact‘s Keqing. The post includes two photos showing Sneaky cosplaying the Electro character, complete with her distinctive purple hair and Piercing Thunderbolt outfit. While Sneaky does not do too fully to showcase Keqing’s electrical powers with photo effects or props, the cosplay is still incredible.

Not just the look of Genshin impact characters are easily suited to cosplay (including several unique outfits for each playable character), but players often associate with a particular character’s background story. In Keqing’s case, she is introduced as a character with fierce determination and independence. She is also a skeptic, which is rare among her people, and chooses to solve her own problems rather than wait for the gods to decide her fate. This rich background story and personality certainly makes her an appealing character before she even discusses her electrical abilities as a Starward Sword.

The fact that a mobile game, though perhaps the greatest mobile game ever, continues to attract such enthusiasm and support from its players is remarkable enough. But Genshin impact clearly transcends beyond the etiquette of a mobile game and has massive cultural significance for all kinds of gamers. If Sneaky’s cosplay is not proof enough, maybe Genshin impact‘s massive profits are.
