ONTD Original: Monthly Movie Challenge – December

Another 10-task challenge. Of course, you do not have to do all 10 tasks, choose as many as you want, but I reckoned that it gives you some variation and allows you to pick and choose movies that suit your taste, but maybe also make you to see something you would not normally seek out. For each task, you can select the movie that fits the guidelines I have added links to help you. I tried to add tasks that would allow you to get movies on Netflix, Amazon Prime and / or Hulu – but there are also Kanopy and Hoopla (both of which can be accessed for free through your library or university). Have a different movie for each task – that is, do not have the same movie for task 2 and task 6.

1. The Power of the Dog will be released on December 1st. Watch any movie with an animal in the title.
2. December 6th is Bartender Appreciation Day. Watch any movie that shows an actress / actress who was once a bartender (some ideas, but there are several options out there).
3. Nightmare Alley is coming out December 17th; watch any movie with an actress in Nightmare Alley OR a movie with a Mexican director.
4. Watch any musical.
5. Watch any movie that involves religion to a great extent.
6. Watch any Christmas movie.
7. Watch any campy movie.
8. The price season is upon us. See any 2021 release that has won at least one award so far (Sundance, Cannes, Venice, etc.).
9. These Timothée Chalamet stops are not messing around … here is a list of movies he has mentioned, watch one of them.
10. Watch any movie that takes place during New Year (some options).

ONTD, what are you going to see this month? What did you see in the month of November?
