Job Description Summary
Position
Responsibilities:
Recruitment
- Develop the faculty recruitment practice within
HR. - Serve as primary recruiter for faculty hires.
- Accelerate the pipeline development work across Talent
Recruitment. - Collaborate with Senior Directors, chairs & deans to create a recruitment focused HR community.
- Collaborate
with/back up the staffing & onboarding specialist. - Collaborate with current faculty members and department leaders on a regular
basis and proactively identify future hiring needs. - Source, Attract & Recruit high quality candidates by using various sources, like
media networks and employee referrals. - Schedule search committee interviews; read resumes and conduct reference
checks. - Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate board/newspaper/colleges etc.
- Screen candidates job
applications. - Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes.
- Onboard new employees in
order to become fully integrated to CU. - Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices.
- Provide analytical and
well-documented recruitment reports.
Immigration
- Identify and assist personnel with obtaining
work status. - Liaison between attorney and employee immigration matters.
- Coordinate paperwork for H Visas and Green Card
applications. - Verify the work documentation and assist with questions related to this documentation (OPT, EAD, etc.)
- Make
all applicable updates to immigration information in PeopleSoft as needed and pull requested reports. - Collaborate with/back up the
staffing & onboarding specialist.
Affirmative Action
In conjunction with the TAM the
Faculty Recruiter/Training & Analytics will perform the following:
- Provide guidance on affirmative action policy related
subject matter throughout the recruitment process - Assist with required search committee affirmative action training
- Provide
accurate records relating to Affirmative Action and staffing data/metrics - Work with departments to review candidates in applicant
pools to ensure selection is in compliance with our Affirmative Action Plan - Collaborate with and provide back up the staffing &
onboarding specialist.
HR Dashboard
- Pull accurate data for HR metrics related to staffing and
onboarding. - Maintain metrics around recruitment and retention for the HR dashboard that are part of the departmental
goals. - Collaborate with/back up the staffing & onboarding specialist.
Training
- Promote
the Universities reputation as “best place to work”. - Develop training programs for faculty
- Work with the staffing specialist
to create an inclusive orientation program across campus. - Create and deliver specialized presentations and training on HR related
topics across the University - Assisting the HR team in the progression and moderation of operating policies, guidelines, and systems
to encourage best practices within the university.
Analytics
- Compile HR data and metrics for
human resource and payroll - Manage/conduct employee stay and exit interviews, and provide data trends. Identify top reasons why
candidates and employees choose to work at/leave CU - Support recruiting processes with data and statistics for trends and
patterns - Designs and develops queries for reporting and special projects
- Performs special projects and analyses around
internal measurements and metrics to monitor HR programs (e.g., employee demographics, turnover trends, data collection and analysis,
internal and external benchmarks) - Presents data both electronically and in person, which clearly articulates any findings,
assumptions and suggestions that can be used effectively and practically by the
stakeholder.
Other:
- The ideal candidate must be willing to travel by plane and automobile to
conduct recruitment business. Occasional includes weekend and evening projects. - Assist with other projects, administrative duties,
and initiatives as assigned. - Performance of above duties require you to be at work on Campus.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
- Prior
faculty and administrative recruitment experience in Higher Education - Three plus years of progressive recruiting
experience - 2+ years of Human Resources Analytics
