NOBULL Running Club

The athletics clothing company NOBULL hosts its club, which is run every two weeks, starting from Wynwood Place. With 2022 just around the corner, it’s not too early to start on these New Year’s resolutions, and the running club is a great way to stay motivated. Bayfront NYE

The Big Orange will rise again during New Year’s Eve in Bayfront Park. Along with the largest fireworks display in the area, the night will feature a who is who of Latin artists including Willy Chirino, Gente De Zona, Nacho, Yotuel, Chacal and Jacob Forever. The event is, as always, free to attend. A very Tiki New Year’s Eve at Sweet Beach

Sweet Beach, the Sweet Liberty pop-up on Shelborne South Beach celebrates New Year’s Eve with a tiki twist. The party features fire dancers and music by DJ Retro Kidd and offers free admission all night long – a rarity at NYE in South Beach – and a champagne toast at midnight. Xperimento at Doral Yard

Doral Yard celebrates the new year with Latin funk outfit Xperimento on Friday. While the place sells table packages, general admission is completely free. Miami Beach Classical Music Festival Orchestra in Lummus Park

Are you looking for a relaxed New Year’s day? The Miami Beach Classical Music Festival Orchestra will host a free outdoor concert. Along with the group, Cuban-American soprano Eglise GuttiĆ©rez will perform and will feature Viennese waltzes, Latin zarzuela and Broadway favorites. The concert takes place in Lummus Park at 12th Street and Ocean Drive and invites everyone to take the whole family with them with blankets and folding chairs. 2pm Saturday, January 1, Lummus Park, at 12th Street and Ocean Drive, Miami Beach. There is free admission.

The Love Tempo at Melinda’s

Enjoy the first Sunday of the new year at Melinda’s when Love Tempo shows up in the downtown lounge. On the line-up are Soul Clap Records artist FSQ, Ntem and Inbal along with Love Tempo residents Brad Strickland and Padraic Carey. Party guests can also check out the Disco Market, where vendors sell vinyl records, vintage clothing, jewelry and more. 5pm Sunday, Jan. 2 at Melinda’s, 1306 N.
