A man has died after being pulled up by the water at Trigg Beach.
St John Ambulance responded to the incident at noon Monday.
The man was pulled out of the water by Surf Life Saving WA. CPR was performed on the man, but he died on the spot.
Scarborough Police visited the beach and confirmed that a man in his 40s was dead.
The man is believed to have drowned, but the exact circumstances surrounding the man’s death are not known, police say.
A report will be prepared for the forensic pathologist.
There were two incidents at Trigg Beach on Monday with a few moments apart.
St John Ambulance responded to an initial call at Trigg Beach at 11.53, which involved a woman in her 20s. This van was diverted to the second more urgent call, just streets away, at 12 o’clock – where the man in his 40s was unable to be rescued.
Another van was sent out to the original job. The woman in her 20s was driven to Joondalup Health Campus with non-life-threatening injuries.
