Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying suspects in connection with the shooting in the center

Toronto police are looking to identify two suspects in connection with a shooting in the center last month.

On December 12, 2021, police responded to a shooting in the Yonge and Dundas streets around 1 p.m.

Police said two men were walking west on Dundas Street, approaching a group of people standing on the streets of Yonge and Dunda.

The two men allegedly tried to rob the group and a fight ensued.

One of the men fired a firearm and, according to police, hit a victim in the chest.

The victim’s injuries are unknown.

Both men fled on foot eastbound on Dundas Street.

Before the shooting, police said the two men walked into a gas station store in the area.

Photos and videos of the suspects have been released by police.
