Andy Cohen directs his ugly comments at Ryan Seacrest in the weekend.
During his CNN broadcast with Andersen Cooper on New Year’s Eve, the TV host cast a shadow for the ABC special Dick Clark’s New Year’s Eve with Seacrest and called the performers a “group of losers.”
“I’m sorry, but if you watch ABC, you see nothing,” he said, while also slapping the performers during a drunken rant.

Now the 53-year-old Bravo producer owns up to his mistakes and takes back the unnecessary comments he made about Seacrest and his ABC show.

“The only thing I regret to have said is the only thing is that I threw the ABC show and I really like Ryan Seacrest and he’s a great guy,” Cohen said on his Andy Cohen live radio broadcast on Monday, January 3 per Only Jared. “I really regret that I said it and I was just stupid and drunk and felt it.”
“I just kept talking and I should not have done that,” he continued. “I felt bad about it. So that’s the only thing. That’s the only thing.”

But his comments on the former American idol the host were not the only targets in Cohen’s New Year’s Eve outburst, which he also called out Major Bill de Blasio for having done the “craziest job” in his four years as mayor of New York.
“The only thing the Democrats and Republicans can agree on is what a horrible mayor he has been,” he continued during his quarrel, while Cooper tried to calm him down. “Sayonara, sucka! 2022! It’s a new year.”
The next day, Cohen blamed his actions for the alcohol, insisting he was “overpowered,” but admitted he was still having fun.
However, CNN did not find Cohen’s outburst as funny, as the talk show will most likely not be invited back as host next year.

“We claim to be the most trusted news network, and yet CNN is hiring Andy Cohen to make us a fool out of all our New Year’s achievements?” told a source Radar. “Andy does not even work for CNN, and yet he has been the face of our network for the last 48 hours. It’s embarrassing and real CNN staff is very angry. “
“Andy went too far. I think we can agree that it’s CNN that looks like losers,” another insider added. “Nothing has been made official yet, but internally we have been told that Andy not being invited back next year.To shame himself is one thing, but that embarrassing Anderson Cooper is another.i [sic] was already known that Anderson does not want to host next year’s special, he would rather call the new year in with his son. And without Anderson, fortunately, there will be no Andy Cohen. “
