MANCHESTER, NH (CBS) – An arrest has been made in connection with the missing 7-year-old Manchester, NH girl Harmony Montgomery, though she has not yet been found.
Investigators announced that Adam Montgomery, 31, was arrested Tuesday.
Montgomery is charged with second-degree assault stemming from alleged conduct against Harmony in 2019. He also faces a misdemeanor charge of parental involvement and two misdemeanors of endangering a child’s welfare.
Despite the arrest, authorities said the search for Harmony continues. She has not been seen since 2019, but was first reported missing last week.
Montgomery is expected to appear in court Wednesday morning in Hillsborough County Superior Court North.
