Andy Cohen believes the early ‘Housewives’ had ‘Terrible’ style

How far they have come. Turn on any franchise Real Housewives today and it is safe to say that you will see a fair share of Chanel, Dior and Louis Vuitton. But the ladies did not always rock so high fashion looks – and Andy Cohen have noticed the development.

“In the beginning of Orange County, the mature was just awful, ”the 53-year-old See what happens live host recalled in an interview on Tuesday, January 6 with Vanity Fair. “If you look at the first few years of reunions, Orange County, Atlanta and New York, they had basically looked at – I do not even think what they would wear to a cocktail party. I think it was more what they could wear to a PTA meeting. “

But as the show has progressed, the stars have certainly increased their game. With stylists and glam squads on standby, there is no shortage of stunning beauty looks and designer duds.

“I think people have loved to see what they’re wearing now,” Cohen added. “They were meant to be hopeful, and that’s what they are.”

Housewives have become such a fashion force in recent years that they recently teamed up for a special Project runway crossover, in which Leah McSweeneY, Luann de Lesseps, Shannon Beador, Gina cherry cheers, Gizelle Bryant, Wendy Osefo and Karen Huger will work with designers to create a reunion dress.

“For Housewives, get ready for a reunion – it’s like their prom dress. So in the same way, I think it presents a logical challenge, ”the bestselling author told the outlet. “I love the dynamics that unfold when you have a Housewife as a client for a designer and to see the interplay between Housewives and the designer who wants to win the challenge.”

As you can imagine, the whole collaboration was pretty chaotic. Host Christian Siriano told Vanity Fair that the special episodes created “one of the most intense groupings of personalities ever in the show’s history.” The episode, which airs Thursday, Jan. 6, already has it Housewives excited. McSweeney even took to Instagram to tease tonight’s episode.

“Tomorrow night things will be RIGHT on @projectrunwaybravo. I love these ladies, ”she added the subtitle to a picture behind the scenes. It did not take long before her new teammates jumped into the comments section. Beador wrote, “Had a ball with you all! Can’t wait to see it,” while Byrant said, “So much fun !!”
