Man, 28, accidentally cuts teenager in Penn Station: police

A 28-year-old man accidentally cut a teenager across the forehead with scissors at Penn Station early Friday, police said.

The 17-year-old victim was standing on the A, C and E platforms at the 34th Street-Penn Station stop just before 4 a.m. when the suspect suddenly stabbed him without saying a word, authorities said.

The attacker fled the station but was quickly arrested on the street, police said.

Charges were still pending later in the morning.

The victim was taken to Bellevue, where he was treated and released for a wound to the forehead.

The attack comes two days after a 21-year-old homeless man allegedly hugged another man, 31, who confronted him for masturbating in front of his wife outside Penn Station.

The suspect fled into the station, where he was arrested and charged with public fornication and assault, police said.
