Prince William and Kate Middleton say goodbye to their longtime CEO Jason Knauf.

After announcing his departure in May last year, Knauf’s role has now ended.

Knauf joined the household in 2015 as communications secretary and later worked as a senior adviser. He later became CEO of the Royal Foundation.

“Serving as communications secretary and then Foundation CEO has been the privilege of my career,” Kanuf wrote on Linkedin. “We have built strong platforms such as Heads Together, The Earthshot Prize and the Center for Early Childhood. I have traveled to 36 countries and to all corners of the UK and I have made fantastic new friends along the way.”

“I have been so proud to support the Duke and Duchess’ unique, optimistic leadership during a period when we have faced a pandemic, the climate crisis, a seismic shift in our attitude towards mental health and more,” he added.

Knauf travels to join her husband in India on a diplomatic mission.

When it was first announced that Knauf was on his way out, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge issued a statement in which it read: “Jason has been an integral part of our team since 2015. We are immensely grateful for his hard work and commitment, both at The Royal Foundation and previously as our Communications Secretary. Since taking office as CEO, Jason has driven positive change and made our vision for our charitable work and the issues that matter most to us a reality. of seeing him go, but wishing him all the best in his future career. “
