Huge police presence in Langley after a man was shot and killed in a parking lot in a shopping mall – BC

There’s a massive police presence on 88th Avenue and 202nd Street in Langley Friday afternoon.

When officers arrived at the mall, they found an adult man suffering from gunshot wounds, police said. The man died of his injuries.

The integrated homicide investigation team has been called in to investigate, and police said this does not appear to have been a random act.

Yellow tape is up at the Strip Mall, and a corpse can be seen under a yellow tarpaulin in the parking lot.

The area around the crime scene will be cordoned off for a significant amount of time, police said.

A witness told Global News that she heard gunshots around noon. 14.00, before she walked over to the mall and saw the police, flashing lights and yellow crime scenes.

She said she heard between eight and 10 shots.

There is also a smashed black SUV behind police tape.
