Mother brings child to Covid test site in car trunk – RT World News

A high school teacher is accused of committing a child endangerment crime after taking drastic measures to avoid getting coronavirus from his son

Texas police are looking for an English teacher in high school after she allegedly locked her Covid-19-positive child in the trunk of a car to limit exposure on the way to a test facility.

An arrest warrant for child endangered crime was issued to Sarah Beam, 42, on Friday after her 13-year-old son was spotted in the trunk of the car at Houston’s Pridgeon Stadium Covid-19 test center this week.

Bevin Gordon, the health director of the local independent school district, reportedly contacted police “she saw Beam open the trunk and found that the 13-year-old was lying face down inside.”

Legal documents claim that Beam defended the travel arrangement by claiming that the child was in the trunk of “prevent her from being exposed to possible COVID.”
