A ‘Fraggle Rock’ reboot is on the way, so dust off your dancing shoes – National

It’s time to dance your worries away, TV fans: They loved the muppets off Fraggle Rock is back for a restart.

The 2022 version of the 80s after-school favorite seems to be sticking to its source material in a new trailer from AppleTV +, with lots of catchy tunes and sweet jokes.

All of Jim Henson’s most beloved Fraggles, Doozers, and Gorgs are back, including Red, Gobo, Mokey, Boober, and Uncle Traveling Matt. But perhaps the most exciting part (for us at least) is a Sprocket sight!

The new series follows the Apple Original shorts Fraggle Rock: Rock On!, which was released in 2020 – at the same time as Apple started streaming all the original episodes of Fraggle Rock.

Like the original series, the Fraggle reboot has a pretty cool Canuck connection – both versions were produced and filmed in Canada.
